The home visiting workforce is the backbone of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program, implementing evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for children and their families. The Staff Recruitment and Retention CoIIN, recognizing that higher quality services can be provided to families when there is a supported and representative home visiting workforce, assists MIECHV awardees and local implementing agencies with creating equity-centered infrastructure that supports best practices for recruitment, hiring, and retention.
