Caregiver-Child Interaction
Responsive, linguistically rich, and nurturing relationships are critical to the healthy growth and development of children. The Caregiver-Child Interaction (CCI) CoIIN, with a focus on attuning to and honoring the voice of caregivers, supports awardees of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program to partner with families in mutual reflection and ongoing dialogue so that every caregiver can feel confident in their ability to develop a nurturing relationship with their child.

By March 2025, every family served by home visiting programs participating in the CCI CoIIN will receive the necessary support to engage in positive, nurturing relationships that grow the family’s wellness.
