Driving Improvements in Home Visiting Through CQI—Lessons from the Field

HV CoIIN launched a new podcast series: Driving Improvements in Home Visiting Through CQI—Lessons from the Field. Throughout this series, listeners will hear firsthand accounts from MIECHV awardees, home visiting program staff, home visitors, and parents about how they use CQI to transform home visiting systems and make a difference in the outcomes that matter to families.

  • Episode 1: Confronting Caregiver Depression: In the first episode, HV CoIIN Improvement Advisor Rachael Glisson talks to two home visitors from CoIIN’s Caregiver Depression Collaboration: Beth Porter, Planned Parenthood doula and certified parent educator for the Bristol Warren Regional School District in Rhode Island, and Ashley Maddox, family support specialist with Healthy Families Columbus for the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension. Hear how they overcame obstacles, what they did that worked, and how they applied CQI strategies to improve outcomes for new families dealing with depression.
