Anne Wang, an experienced researcher and project leader, has expertise in data-driven continuous improvement, program evaluation, instructional design, training and technical assistance, strategic planning, root cause analysis, needs and resource assessments, and product development. Spanning the fields of education, health, and mental health, her work focuses on improving outcomes for youth from low-income communities and underrepresented groups.
Wang guides districts in using continuous improvement to improve the quality and equity of education. Previous projects include the Nellie Mae District Level Systems Change Initiative and National Center on Scaling Up Effective Schools. As associate project director for the Tribal Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center, she co-created and implemented a strategic planning process and associated trainings and materials, as well as evaluation and sustainability resources.
In 2019, Wang co-authored Building a Culture of Continuous Improvement, a comprehensive guidebook and toolkit developed for the Nellie Mae Education Foundation. She regularly shares her expertise in continuous improvement at convenings such as the Carnegie Summit on Improvement in Education.
Wang holds a PhD in Social Psychology from Harvard University.
